Buyer Protection Plan

AH Auto is committed to providing our customers with a secure, transparent, and dependable vehicle-buying experience. We believe every purchase should be handled with professionalism, clarity, and confidence from start to finish.

There is no enrollment, registration, or additional sign-up required. Eligible protection is automatically included with your winning purchase.

With more than 2,000 successful vehicle sold, AH Auto has extensive experience representing vehicles accurately and professionally. We provide detailed descriptions, professional photographs, videos, and available vehicle information to help buyers make informed purchasing decisions.

Because used vehicles are previously owned and may have unknown or unforeseen conditions, there may occasionally be circumstances in which an issue is discovered after a purchase. In addition to any specific coverage or return provisions stated in the individual auction listing, eligible purchases may receive protection through applicable AH Auto Buyer Protection Plan.

Eligible capital-asset purchases over $1,000 may also qualify for protection of up to $100,000 under the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program. The $100,000 amount represents the maximum protection available under the program and does not necessarily represent the purchase price or value of the asset.

Buyer Coverage

Section 1 - Secure Warehousing & Storage

Purchased vehicles are maintained in a secure, professionally managed storage facility while awaiting transportation, delivery, or customer pickup, where applicable. Appropriate measures are taken to safeguard vehicles and related assets throughout the storage period.

Section 2 - Licensed & Bonded Seller

AH Auto operates as a fully licensed and bonded automotive dealer, providing our customers with an additional level of confidence and protection throughout the vehicle purchasing process. Where applicable, our dealer bond is maintained through International Sureties in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Section 3 - Purchase, Repair & Return Transportation

Eligible transactions may qualify for protection of up to $100,000 toward qualifying purchase, repair, return, or transportation-related expenses. Coverage is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and eligibility requirements established under the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 4 - Fraud or Non-Delivery

Protection may be available in the event an eligible buyer has completed payment for a qualifying vehicle or asset but does not receive the purchased item as agreed. Any applicable protection is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and eligibility requirements of the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 5 - Liens & Ownership Issues

Protection may be available in the event of undisclosed liens, encumbrances, or ownership-related issues that materially affect the buyer’s ability to obtain clear and lawful title to an eligible vehicle or asset. Coverage, where applicable, is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and eligibility requirements of the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 6 - Coverage Applicability

Coverage applies only to eligible transactions and qualifying circumstances expressly covered under the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program. All protections are subject to the program’s terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, eligibility requirements, and applicable documentation requirements.

Section 7 - Material Misrepresentation

Protection may be available when an eligible vehicle delivered to the buyer materially differs from its advertised type, make, or model, and such discrepancy results in a documented reduction in the vehicle’s value exceeding $1,500. Any applicable protection is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, and eligibility requirements of the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 8 - Dispute Resolution

Eligible disputes may be addressed through the applicable NetNeutrals dispute-resolution process, providing a structured and impartial framework for resolving qualifying disputes. Any dispute-resolution process is subject to the applicable procedures, requirements, eligibility criteria, and terms of the governing program.

Buyers seeking to initiate a qualifying dispute should contact AH Auto promptly and submit the required documentation and supporting information. AH Auto will provide the applicable instructions and next steps for proceeding through the designated dispute-resolution process.

Section 9 - Undisclosed Damage

Protection may be available when an eligible vehicle is delivered with material damage that was not previously disclosed or accurately represented at the time of purchase, and the reasonable and documented cost of necessary repairs exceeds $1,500. Any applicable protection is subject to the terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, documentation requirements, and eligibility criteria of the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 10 - Limitations on Undisclosed Damage

Claims involving undisclosed damage are subject to specific coverage requirements, exclusions, and limitations. To qualify for protection under this provision, the reasonable and documented cost of necessary repairs must exceed $1,500. Repair costs of $1,500 or less do not qualify for coverage.

For purposes of determining the repair-cost threshold, qualifying expenses may include reasonable parts and labor costs directly necessary to correct the covered damage, as supported by written estimates, invoices, inspection reports, or other documentation acceptable under the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program. Costs unrelated to the covered damage, routine maintenance, upgrades, modifications, cosmetic improvements, or other non-qualifying work will not be included in determining whether the $1,500 threshold has been met.

The qualifying damage must be material in nature and substantially affect the vehicle’s functionality, safety, or normal operation. Coverage generally does not extend to cosmetic imperfections, appearance-related damage, normal wear and tear, deterioration, routine maintenance items, or non-critical defects that do not materially impair the vehicle’s normal operation.

All claims remain subject to the terms, conditions, documentation requirements, eligibility criteria, exclusions, and limitations of the AH Auto Purchase Protection Program.

Section 11 - Cargo & Transportation Insurance

When transportation is arranged directly through AH Auto, eligible vehicles may be protected by cargo and transportation insurance with coverage of up to $100,000 for qualifying physical loss of or damage to the vehicle occurring during the covered transportation period.

Coverage begins when the vehicle is accepted by the authorized transportation carrier for shipment and continues while the vehicle is in the carrier’s custody during the covered transit period. Coverage ends upon the vehicle’s delivery to the designated delivery location and completion of the carrier’s delivery process, unless otherwise specified by the applicable insurance policy.

The buyer should thoroughly inspect the vehicle immediately upon delivery and before accepting the shipment as complete. Any visible damage or discrepancy should be documented with photographs or video and reported to AH Auto within 48 hours of delivery. Hidden or concealed damage discovered after delivery should be reported promptly upon discovery and accompanied by supporting documentation. Failure to meet the applicable reporting requirements may affect claim eligibility, subject to the terms of the governing insurance policy.

Coverage does not automatically extend to pre-existing damage, mechanical failure, normal wear and tear, cosmetic imperfections, personal property, or other excluded losses. All claims are subject to the applicable policy terms, conditions, exclusions, limitations, deductibles, coverage limits, documentation requirements, and eligibility requirements.

Section 12 - Customer & Logistics

AH Auto provides professional customer-service and logistics support throughout the purchasing and delivery process.

For purposes of this support, an eligible buyer generally means a customer who has completed or entered into a qualifying vehicle purchase transaction directly with AH Auto, subject to applicable program requirements. Eligibility may depend on the vehicle purchased, transaction status, transportation arrangements, documentation, and other requirements established by the applicable program.

Eligible buyers may receive assistance with purchase-related inquiries, transportation coordination, delivery arrangements, transaction documentation, shipment status updates, and questions regarding applicable protection programs and coverage procedures.

Where applicable, AH Auto will provide eligible buyers with relevant instructions, documentation, contact information, and next-step guidance necessary to facilitate the purchase, transportation, delivery, or submission of a protection-related inquiry or claim.

To qualify as an eligible buyer, the customer must:

  • Have entered into a valid purchase transaction directly with AH Auto for an eligible vehicle or asset.
  • Have completed or satisfied the applicable purchase requirements, including any required payment or financing obligations.
  • Have a transaction that is documented in AH Auto’s records and meets the requirements of the applicable protection or support program.
  • Provide accurate and complete contact, transaction, delivery, and identification information when reasonably required.

    Our Commitment to Buyers

AH Auto is committed to delivering a transparent, secure, and professional purchasing experience built on trust, accountability, and customer confidence. We encourage all buyers to thoroughly review the complete auction listing, including vehicle descriptions, photographs, videos, disclosures, terms and conditions, and all applicable buyer-protection program provisions before making a purchasing decision.

Buyers are responsible for conducting their own due diligence and carefully evaluating the vehicle’s condition, specifications, history, documentation, and disclosed information before placing a bid or finalizing a purchase. We believe informed purchasing decisions are essential to a positive and reliable transaction.

The AH Auto Buyer Protection Plan is designed to provide additional peace of mind for qualifying transactions. However, it is not a substitute for independent vehicle inspections, research, or buyer due diligence. All protection benefits are subject to the applicable eligibility requirements, terms and conditions, exclusions, deductibles, coverage limits, limitations, and claims procedures of the program.
